They have two additional years of complaining about judges built up, maybe?

Also it's a BD show that feels relatively safe as BD shows go (whether it is is a different question) that's scoring well, which can be frustrating.

Probably goes with all the complaining about the split-night judging and how it makes no sense despite it being how this specific show has worked for the last fifteen years.

I revise my statement from the other day that this was going to go like either 2008, 2011, or 2017. I think it's probably going to end up resembling 2009, with BAC playing the role of Crown.

There is not. Good grief, we say it for a reason. You cannot compare scores from different nights. It doesn't matter if the judging panel is the same. Everything else is different. They are comparing different corps, which leads them to their numbers. They cannot compare BD last night to Crown tonight. It's entirely impossible. There has never been any type of doctrine set at Allentown and it's absurd to claim so.
