Do I recall correctly that rules proposals are an every other year thing? Seems like there will be a few other topics to discuss. One thing I hope is on agenda is a ‘plan B’ if LOS field replacement falls behind schedule & isn’t complete by August. Ooh boy that would be the cluster#### to end all cluster####s. But the Colts aren’t going to be in the playoffs so they should have plenty of time. Edited January 3 by Terri Schehr

I’d want to explore the rules of exiting the field. Technically it’s “out of bounds” of the performance area. The beginning of Into the Light was a pre show so it’s not judged. Was the exit outside of adjudication as well? I’m not sure. Then that brings in the whole being within the time limits while having a “pre” and “post” show that aren’t judged. And if it’s not judged is it worth doing in the long run? Don't get me wrong, Into the Light is one of my favorite shows of all time. I’m just playing devils advocate i believe going into the tunnel at the end of the show is ok....ask SCV 90

After that new field installed. I know in NFL if for some reason stadium isn’t ready for a game then they typically play at other teams stadium. So DCI better have a plan. Better to plan & not need than vice versa. https://www.lucasoilstadium.com/event/2024-u-s-olympic-team-trials-swimming/

I read that as DCI's decision regarding their competitive status only for 2024. I can't find anywhere that the other corps voted on the membership issue. I thought it was two separate issues/processes. IDK

Probably because it's difficult for the musicians to make a surprise entrance or a surprise exit when they are required to haul out and haul off all of the props.
