Key To The Sea (Toledo, OH) Just a few Actually, the Danny Thomas was held in MA around CYO/WO time. The Shriners, at least when I competed in that show, was held in Toronto. elphaba01 Posted June 23, 2004 Share Posted June 23, 2004 "Remember When": The Senior World Open Contests (run by Drum Corps News in conjuction with the Junior World Open) in 1963 & 1964 were won by the New York Skyliners & Connecticut Hurricanes. The DCN hosted Senior World Open Invitational in 1971 which was won by the Skyliners. The 1963 show was held in Roosevelt Stadium and the 64 & 71 contests in Bridgeport's JFK. OldBones Posted November 8, 2006 Share Posted November 8, 2006 Bayonne to start the season Dream in the middle of the season A little known show: Bristol Pa Bracken show on Labor Day Weekend use to bring in Garfield, St Lucy's and Sac In the final years, Crossmen, Polish Falcons, and CMCC.
