Bruckner8
84....BD (duh)If you happen to have any pics of the Whitewater Wipeout....I don't think I've ever seen any. All I need is a brain scanner to read the entire scene from my head...it's still there, in slow-motion, as I stand outside the fence around the back-right (from audience) of the track, in uniform, after perfoming a heluva show 15 minutes prior. Human dominoes, player after player. I can't recall the actual number, but my mind sees at least 5 right now. My thought was "Oh no! I want to kick their azz at the top of their game!" Sure enough, we won, and I was kind of blah about it. Later I heard they had gotten a perfect 10 in Visual Ensemble! http://www.fromthepressbox.com/19840803dcimidwestfinals.htm I'm not kidding when I tell you that event forms the beginning my Competitive Inertia theory: http://www.drumcorpsplanet.com/forums/inde...howtopic=107285 Garfield had all of the inertia, thanks to one person: Zingali. When a corps crashes and burns, and gets a perfect score, it makes one go hmmmmm....

When the staff was going over the caption scores, bot our staff and Regiment's got to that vizh score at the same time...both corps basically looked at each other and said "WTF?" We were happy that if we didn't beat Garfield that night, at least you guys did.
