kusankusho
SCV - The Canyon, Blue Shades~G~ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Roger that - we're playing Blue Shades this year. Lots of ensemble and cleaning time being spent on that puppy but it's getting there.....
Kamarag
1986 Suncoast Sound - Adventures in Time (especially Commencement, and the Artemis Jumps) 1995 Blue Devils - Caribe was insane. 1993 Blue Devils - Don Ellis at his crazy best. 1991/1993 Star, but mostly for the mellos. The rest wasn't all that. 1983 Cadets - Rocky Point Holiday 1995 Phantom Regiment - Symphony Fantastique
Walter
Roger that - we're playing Blue Shades this year. Lots of ensemble and cleaning time being spent on that puppy but it's getting there..... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And sounding better as the days go on !!!! You guys are doing an amazing job with those kids....I wish I was going to Finals!!
shostahoosier
No love for Phantom 2000? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I might be a bit partial, but I think that Regiment 2000, 2001, 2002....well...you get the point...all of those years had some pretty meaty books. Star 92 deserves mention too....some of those horn licks...on crappy two valve bugles...were incredible! Cadets 97 was a lot of black ink. But lets not forget there is more to a difficult book then lots of ink and triple c's.
dciguy01
01 Phantom's opener... WOO!!
Lance
I was just thinking, if we're talking about specific pieces, Short Ride in A Fast Machine. I think SCV's arrangement was a bit harder than The Cadets of Bergen County's.
socalcontra
1984-La Fiesta Need I say more?!
Blackstar
I can't remember who did it off hand, but I think one of the toughest was Ruslan & Ludmila. #### that was fast. I'm thinking 83 Madison or Xmen. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Alot oof other Corps played it but I beleive most used the pit to do the runs. Personaly I like the 84 version better. BECAUSE I MARCHED IT b**bs
scouttimp
For runs and notes, gotta go with '83 Madison Colas Breugnon (or however you spell that...) One SOB of a tune. Wish I'd been there! (except that I was 13 :-))
