I'm with a lot of others, it's a toss up between Cavaliers 2003 and Blue Devils 2004. I'm still not convinced that Cavaliers shouldn't have won in 2003, and that Spin Cycle might be the best combination of drill and music ever, perhaps topping Frameworks. As for Blue Devils, well 2004 might be the one year that really deserved a tie. Both shows were sublime.

I could probably justify a vote for 2003 and 2001 Cadets, though I think the shows I mentioned would have to come first. But I'm having a hard time understanding how Phantom 2005 could possibly be the leading vote getter.

2003 Cavies, most defiintely. What a fantastic show.

Incredible design in every facet. Superior Execution.

For as much as I loved Cavies "Four Corners" show I did not think it was deserving of winning. The GE and design was over the top but the execution of it lacking, quite a bit in my estimation, compared to Cadets and especially Blue Devils that season. Tough call though.

SCV 04 of that list, but Phantom 03 also rocked my world!

I'd put Spin Cycle right up there, but the opener and recapitulation ending left me flat, and yes, I got the concept. However, the whole section between the drum weave through the corps and the recapitulation ending is some of the most exciting drum corps ever, IMO.

I didn't like spin cycle at all.

Don't get me wrong, they played it quite well. The whole show concept just escaped me, and didn't capture my attention.
