sobe
Ya know, the whole "Clue" title for '09 sounds suspiciously like the rumored program for Cadets this year, the whole murder mystery thing with different endings. I couldn't imagine SCV cheesing out like that..
piojon
drum corps is getting weirder and weirder
chris ncsu
This could be good if done right, but I see no emotional value in this show, nothing that'll make me want to stand up and cheer (which I really like doing at drum corps shows but did not do for the Cadets this year). The future of humankind, the joy of celebration, the glory of our great nation...that's what I want to see. But a murder mystery? They're trying too hard. ######, pick some music, pick some drill, and go out and create a masterpiece. I dunno, I don't see much'emotional value' in much of what the Cavies are doing (don't mean to pick on Cavies, just wanted to juxtapose their success with this so-called 'emotional value'). But of course emotion is something oft debated on here, and has no answer. I really doubt this will happen. The Cadets have a history of following a risky show that "flops" (by Cadets standards) with something safe and clean. 86, 87. 89, 90. 91, 92. 99, 00. I disagree that 92 and 00 were 'safe and clean'...i think that 86-87 and MAYBE 02-03 are the only ones that work with the flop-safe comparison. MikeD
I actually kind of like the whole alternate ending idea. Yes, the "ending du jour" is based on which door the young lady in the school unif....
