Jimisback
That being said, the constant beat on the block reminds me of voice over. :)
ApocalypseTissue
That being said, the constant beat on the block reminds me of voice over. :) ??? Lol well this is only a brass chart recording. No percussion, Dr. Beat has to be pretty strong.
NR_Ohiobando
What was all this about them needing lead sops? Sounds great to me :)
mellos
Another great start to another Jay Masterpiece. Of note, I really enjoyed whoever was Beat "Person" for their very musical approach to the Dr.! Nice job Cadets!
Galen
I guess that answers the question of who's playing the clarinet solo :P
just_another_fanatic
hmm... the rock out section needs more oomph (see SCV99) otherwise, it sounds smokin' for a Feb. recording!
Phantombari1
For me, the direction they are taking this year is a big step in the right direction but If they add narration of any kind I will be totally turned off. It would be like my grandmas ham during thanksgiving, really good until you bite into a clove! The two selections I've heard will sound great once all the kinks are out. Lance
Some harmony lines in there that aren't in the actual piece. They're playing it a lot more jazzy than it's written, too. All of this is good criticism...I like that it's quite a bit different from X-Men's and SCV's version.

rai-mello
I was purposely leading to the "stop hoppy" thing just for fun, hoping people could not blow it up and make it an "i hate hoppy" thread. Gladly, it didn't go there...But seriously, I'm really liking this. It's got me excited, yet regretful.
