MJN
This doesn't really have to do anything with scores/placements etc. But, what are your three favorite Blue Devil hornlines??? I have BD finals from 1975-2006. When I first became a drumcorps fan, they were my favorite corps by far. I had a friend in Scouts who would make copies of a lot of the older mid 70's - mid 80's - and I was completley hooked. My three favorite - 1. 1986 - THE show that hooked me on DCI. My alltime favorite hornline and overall show. 2. 1991 - Awesome hornline (too bad to drumline wan't a little better ) Great arrangements too - for me, a stunning performance at Preview of Champions. 3. 1988 - Great soloists - super-polised show. My favorite top 3 corps in a particular year too

DonPRBari
'80 – incredibly smooth '84 – spectacular energy (LOVE La Fiesta!) '86 – near perfection! . . . and no, I'm not an old guy who has no respect for the current state of the activity . . . those just happen to be my three favorite BD hornlines. But there are many, many, more recenty hornlines that would be runners-up.

acn
'86 - favorite show of all time - awesome solos, crazy lip trills from a guy who "looked" like he was at least 30. :o '91 - Watched them practice in Sun Prairie before Preview, and almost crapped myself. What could have been....... '82 - Songs had been done before, but stronger this time, perfect solos.

TenorsForWorldDomination
84 (duh)90 93 84 92 93 I loved '84 because of Latin Implosion. We played that song pretty much note for note based off the BD version in '97.
