I played one of those leftover mellos with the white bells last year. It was an old horn anyways, obviously, but it played like crud. Sorry Xmen , but im glad i didnt have to march a year with that thing...props to you guys for putting up with it! -

Absolutely! Reguardless of all of the extras going on on the field, that corps could PLAY! And the crowd reaction at the end is just rediculous. One of the loudest crowds Ive ever heard, and I wasnt even there live!

I started playing bari my first year last year and started out on 2nd, then moved to lead. Long tones and sheer repitition were the key for me. Range will come with time i promise!

Yes they are...mine fell out of its holster during a show last year so every time i had to do the high mark time it HURT! :(
