Agree totally. One other thing-I think if you add up the total of the Top 6 scores Thurs. in Indy it will total more than any other year. And that might just hold for all 3 nights in Indy. JMO.

That is a fair criticism. But I stand by my comment that they are bigger and better than years ago and seem to be getting bigger and better every year.

That is a good band. Ours (Clemson) has come a long way in a few years. Our band staff I think will be in Indy again this year but I'm not sure if we have anybody marching World Class.

I wear a Clemson Polo shirt when I travel and I get that exact comment a lot.

You should try Indy and I think you might be pleasantly surprised. My group has done Allentown and then Indy for years and we all agree that your ears get acclimated to the sound in no time in Indy. They do as much as they can to help the sound there. On top of that it is very comfortable.

I think you might be right about a show or 2 AFTER finals. I think there might have been a show in Hershey, PA to catch the Corps' returning home after Philly.

When it comes to next Sat. night-I think we found something we can definitely agree on.

I agree with you to an extent, but I would think even those 3 corps' would like to see a number posted tonight since the judges are seeing them 1 after the other. But-I still hold to my conclusion-it will all straighten out by Fri. in Indy.

But that Madison show has its moments-but for in your face sound give me Cavies and Vanguard this year. Very INTENSE.

What part of South Carolina are you from-my wife and I live in Greenville.

I voted Academy but I would not mind at all if it was Madison. We could definitely go at least 15 for Sat. night and they would all be entertaining, IMO.

You just nailed it-except for 2 things. Since we are talking all-time, you absolutely have to include Wayne Downey and Jerry Seawright. Maybe 3 things-the very good musicians that the Devils have been blessed with and nurtured.

This is very interesting and thanks for the info. I guess we can say it will be a lot easier for most corps' to better their placement from Thurs. to Fri. next week than it will be from now to next Thurs.

Your last paragraph-very well said and I agree 100%. There are over 20 shows that I am looking forward to seeing on Thurs. in Indy.

Just an added note-it seemed "closer" in performance level between Vanguard and Devils in the Dome than outdoors. Not sure why, but just my opinion.

After watching Atlanta, Winston-Salem, Annapolis, and Chester (in person) It really seems like it is Vanguard's to lose. What a beautiful total show.

I just talked to Timothy-he said that was "pun intended"-he said for the sake of your stomach while meaning the sak-eee (Japanese wine) of your stomach. He also said he sees Bloo winning it all this year.

Actually, Jeff did that for me in the way that he constructed his comment to Stu. Jeff left out a big part of the story that did not fit his agenda (refunds were given) and then concluded that HE was like Fox News. I simply commented on it.

Jeff, since you brought it up, I completely agree with you. It seems that Stu got the whole story (Flo issued a refund) while you only got one-side of that story-or at least only reported one side. That pretty much sums up those 2 sources for news.
