  1. that would be the "wedge" not the "Iceberg"
  2. There is a difference between an "Iceberg" and the "Wedge". the Iceberg is a large triangular form that moves backwards, the wedge is a tightly packed triangle.
  3. Marched Phantom, it went pretty much like this, run, run, run, play loud, run, run, run man it's hot, run, run, run cool drum line, color guard is good, looks pregnant Cavies are good, Madison is not so good, Blue Coats beat us at the first show, Star is still pink. Wow, new drum solo drill, Cavies still good, Madison is out of the country, Star is getting good. Man it is still hot. Boy our buses suck! Wow Blue Devils are LOUD!! Velvet Knights beat us. SCV is good. Garfield is? Kansas City and it is still hot. Blue Devis are still LOUD!! (man what a horn line) SCV made the whole corps dissaprear, Cavies are good. and where the heck did Madison come from?
  4. Death Hunt stayed pretty much the same all season untill finals week, when Tony changed the last couple of moves. Maybe Tim thought up a pose, horn move, or something like that.
  5. Tim write drill to Death Hunt? Nope, all Tony Hall.
  6. You should take your ring and give to some one who marched in 88, but of course I'm bias.
  7. How many times did Phantom beat SCV, that would be once, at Quarters. That was untill they had the penalties removed. That was a fun one once we got back to our housing and heard about it.
  8. HOW ABOUT DEKALB IN 82, THAT WAS A GREAT SHOW. I ABOUT LOST MY MIND WHEN THE REGIMENT AND SCOUTS DID THE PLAY OFF.
  9. AHHH, I REMEMBER ALIANCE AND TROOPERS BEING PRETTY GOOD THAT YEAR AND NOT MAKING FINALS
  10. man, with all the crass, out of tune playing that was coming from some hornlines in the 90s, it was great to listen to the controled power that came from the 93 hornline.
  11. I marched Colts in 1985, and played on a horn bought from the MB3, I also got to meet some members who went on to march Sky Riders.
  12. remember, if you cant hold your horn up or march and play at the same time, it dosn't matter how high you can play.
  13. I want 89 over again. I'm sure alot of Regiment people would want 77,78,79. 89 still bothers me.
  14. I got to march with two of the best baritone players of the 80s. Dave Lang - Colts 85, and James Hosmer - Phantom 86-89. They were great players and great members.
  15. I think they got sponsorship from Circle K for some of those years. Then the sponsorship ended leaving the Corps with no money.
  16. I loved the US Open. Coolest trophy in the world.
  17. this little kid named Brian Vigna, marched Phantom Cadets and came in second in individuals is 86. He was only 13.
  18. I loved Aliance from Boston. Cool uniforms is 83.
  19. I marched Phantom 86-89, and I heard about the soprano slides in the BD line. I was told that the BD sops would "clank" the slides in retreat to #### off the Regiment horn line.
  20. I liked that show all summer, but I thought the hand, and body work looked better in the old red uniforms.
  21. 88 Blue Devils, it was cool hearing the solos while the corps marched off the field
  22. 1978 Bridgemen 1979 Phantom 1980 Blue Devils 1981 Madison 1982 Phantom 1983 Garfield 1984 Garfield 1985 Suncoast 1986 Blue Devils 1987 Phantom 1988 SCV 1989 Phantom 1990 Cadets
