AlexL
So, after seeing the new movie a couple times now... i cant help but envision the music (which is amazing, btw) being played by a drum corps. Anyone agree?

Anyone agree? Whoever does, must play the Anthem of the United Federation of Planets as a warm up. (Easily found on YouTube under "ufp anthem")
BlooContraGuy
Just got the soundtrack, and yes it is awesome. It may just pop up in corps repertoire in the next few years. We shall see.
corps8294
Take a listen to the Blue Knights 1993 show. Thier program was predominately Star Trek; especially the Wrath of Khan score. With the exception of thier drum solo and hideous uniform alterations, they had a pretty cool program that year.
AlexL
Yeah. The music this time around though, decidedly different from past music.
BlooContraGuy
I love the bass trombone(s) in it. Its so in your face!
Newseditor44
Been listening to the music all day and thought about this as well. It would have to be a corps with a very good low brass section, as this is where a lot of the melody is, but that could be easily worked around. An awesome soundtrack! Galen
As long as whatever corps that does it leaves the half-skirts behind (BK '93)
hrnguy500
I was thinking the same thing about the music about 3 minutes into the movie. It sounds pretty accessible as well and could translate easily into a show.

I could have done without the waistcoats, but I liked the drum break (even if it did go on for, what, half the show?).
