Hrothgar15
On a serious note. I'd love to see Madison play some fiery cuban jazzor some unexplored Paul Hart music - there are 3 movements to his piece Remembrance that the Scouts never touched. A FULL MADISON SCOUTS REMEMBRANCE SHOW.  Tell me you didn't just pee a little thinking about that.

Hrothgar15
YES!!! What the heck, get a full 80 man "G" horn line and lets HEAR some real drum corps again! Not gonna happen (in DCI that is), but seriously. They need to do this show, and have the same closer as '98.
BlooBari
It think their show should be "The Most Interesting Man in the World"- And the only narrative will be after the end release: "Stay Thirsty My Friends" Also, I think SCV should do Maslanka, Symphony Number
Eric Molho
Regiment: Prokofiev Alexander Nevsky. Get back to killing people. Great choice! I've never understood why this hasn't been done more and Regiment would do it well. I can see the battle scene already!
brassoholic19
I would love to hear any corps do "La Fiesta Mexicana" by H. Owen Reed. Not sure if its been done in the past, but when I listen to the piece I have visions of an epic drum corps show. I think it would be most fitting for a corps like HNC, SCV, or CC. Guardguy89
Troopers should do music from the film the "Iron Will" movie with music by Joel McNeely It has that western feel to it, the story is great (although I don't think they should tell a dog sledding story) and the music just seems to scream Troopers (to me at least) later, Mike
dcifan2002
Here's an idea:Crown could break character by bringing some totally new music to the field, the Turangalîla-Symphonie by Olivier Messiaen being a great suggestion I've heard others mention... This being Crown, though, they could keep that bit of whimsy in there by making the show about Turanga Leela, of Futurama fame. More seriously, I'd like to see any corps take on the Turangalîla straight up. There's a ton of potential there, though I can imagine it being off-putting to a large portion of the crowd. CROWN is way too safe for that. There shows are good but vanilla safe.. Mostly take tunes others have played in the past. I would love to see crown do something , anything NEW. They have been in the top 6 for 2 years now. Time to grow an identity. if they have one what is it ?? others. BD-just march your butts off this year. CROWN -please find an identity and an original show with music no one has played before . Cadets-Just don't go back to the weird shows. SCV-young persons again ? stay beautiful pony boy. Cavies -some ERROL FLYNN soundtracks. Bluecoats-Some BLUES. BOSTON -Florida suite from suncoast sound. Troopers - Dances with Wolves. Crossmen -JCS Madison -Nacho Libre soundtrack so they can keep guard uniforms. Spirit-SandiPatti music /gospel Colts-Field of dreams PC -Beachboys Academy -another looking for a identity. although they are new. " Fanfare for the new "brings them to finals. Pioneer -Crown Imerial , Shenandoah by holsinger. Edited August 12, 2009 by dcifan2002
