lanestar
First year I marched was 87, then I aged out in 92. I know I am biased, but those are a couple pretty good years IMO.
Tom Brace
For purely sentimental reasons 1983. It was the year I discovered drum corps... I probably would have jumped up, screamed and applauded someone playing a harmonica!! So, I just about pee'd myself with that Z-pull. Yeah, I was pretty naive back then. LOL. What years did Cadets do a Z-Pull? I'd like to do a video composite of them all in a single video file.
Jeff Ream
my heart says 08 cause of Phantom and Crown, but the rest didnt deliver. the head says the following: 1982 1987 1992 1995 1999 2002 ( which seems to be hated by many, but after first place I loved most of the shows til Crown) 2006

DWEST
1991 This is what drum corps is to me. It didn't matter what place they came in. They were all fantastic! Star of Indiana (Roman Images) Cavaliers ( Cavalier Anthems Advent Collection) Phantom (Phantom Voices) Vanguard (Miss Saigon) Devils (Conversations in Jazz ) Cadets (ABC's of Modern American Music) Scouts (City of Angels) Crossmen (Pat Metheny Suite)
scouttimp
seems like 4 is a good number of faves... 1984- love the whole top 12. 1988- duh... 1995- heck of a year to be a fan of any corps. 2006- liked the jr's, loved the experience of the MSARP! jjeffeory
'91 was may ageout year, but I really prefer '90. What a fight for #12! Hmmm, I vote for '87, '90, '92, '08.
ravedodger
I marched in 91, but the best years IMHO were 1989 and 1995. All corps were awesome top to bottom.
CrownLeadSop
Call me a homer, but this year's top 5 were the absolute best top 5 the activity's seen in a long time, imo. Then you have Bluecoats, Boston, and Blue Stars who were all very good as well. The top 5 were all championship caliber all the way until the end, it was ridiculous.
