fsubone
I know it's not as classic as some guys want, but I'd love to see Bernard Hermann come back into a show, 2000 is still my favorite BD show. That or I'd love to see Night in Tunisia make a comeback to the field.
Blackstar
The 2011 show should be - Channell III Fantasty w/T.O on a Liftraft for the New followed by You Gotta Try a Hip Legend of a Fantasty in Harlem leading into Paradox 9 closing with One More Legend to Chase Dindi and People who are Gonna Fly Like a Lover's Suite Of course I don't know what they would do with the remaining 5 minutes...... MikeD
I say do Channel One Suite. The WHOLE thing. We don't need no stinking snippets. That will be great once they can add a sax section.

MikeD
Says a party of one. Says another party of one. Unless I am mistaken, DCP is a place for "parties of one" to post their own viewpoints. What's your problem with me posting mine?
supersop
You always crack me up Mike. Your constant prodding toward woodwinds and making DCI more like BOA is the equivalent of UK Soccer players posting on the NFL Forums. We all know you love to arrange for Bassoon and English horn, but there's an idiom for that already. Drum corps is Brass and Percussion. Getting it yet? I concur with party of ONE .... and his misguided drones.
Fran Haring
Dindi. As long as they keep that killer duet.
hughesmr
Yeah, but all we'd get is "What?" WIN.
Jeff Ream
something with melody, not being told it's back then having it chopped up or hardly recognizable

When I started drum corps was single valve horns with slip slides, snares, single tenors, thumper basses, cymbals, guards that did NO flag work at all, elevator drum drills, starting in one end zone and exiting out the other. Drum corps is whatever those who make decisions say it is, as always. Get it yet?
