You've got one day to buy Lil Geoffrey's 2010 Cadets uniform

Recommended Posts

(Extracted from e-mail I just received...)

Today, and today only we are making available Lil Geoffrey’s uniform from The Cadets 2010 show and a drum major jacket and pants from the late 1990s. Little Geoffrey's drum major-like uniform, which will not include the shako, is the outfit Geoffrey put on in the final scenes of The Cadets show, when he became a toy soldier. Either one is a priceless memento.

This sale will be conducted like a silent auction. To participate, e-mail your bid to Andrew Barlow at Andrew@YEA.org

Bids for both uniforms will start at $100. Bids will be accepted until 11 p.m. tonight. Between 11 p.m. and midnight, the bid master will manage the bids like a normal auction, e-mailing frequent updates on the status of each bid. At midnight, the last round of e-mails will state the highest bid, and allow a last-chance higher bid. The highest bid at midnight will then win the desired uniform.

The subject line of the e-mailed bids must state either of the following:

Lil Geoffrey Bid

Drum Major Bid

Only e-mails with this subject title will be considered as bids, as any other subject line might get mixed up in other e-mails.

E-mail Andrew Barlow at Andrew@YEA.org before 11 p.m. tonight with any questions about the auction.

There are certain aspects to every show that make The Cadets memorable. The Cadets uniforms are certain to bring back plenty of memories for alumni, fans, and supporters. This is literally your last chance to purchase a Cadet uniform for a very long time!

What a good fundraiser! Heck, I'd send them a hundred if they'd promise to never put a character like little Geoffrey in a Cadets show again!

If only the Velvet Knights had thought of this years back, who knows, they might have been able to stick around. They could've had a silent auction for big rubber sharks, club rio screens, snorkeling gear and fins, african tribal gear getups, rubber zebras and elephants, white bikinis, " Not " banner, lifeguard stands, black masks and black robes, drag outfits, plaid bikinis, wooden machine guns, brazilian gear, bicycles, witches hats, Jose on Tour garb, beach recliners, Vikings gear and braids, hunters gear and camouflage, Uncle Sam outfit, " 2 cool VK banner". revolutionary war outfit, VK baseball caps, fat women costume, bulls wear getup, matador outfit, red sneakers, fire cavern pit, yellow bananas and yellow bandanas, large cardboard tour bus, tin man gear, oz gear, lion gear, red beethoven wigs, southern belle garb," party's over" banner etc.. and so much more I've certainly left out.

Oh well. Good luck to The Cadets on the sale of Geoffs stuff.

Think the Cadets are in a bit of denial on this one. Everything about the Jeffrey character was painful to watch... totally ruined a decent show. Not sure why anyone would want to own a piece of a trainwreck!

Well, you know, it's like a real wreck. You've just gotta slow down and watch!
