Callawyn Posted November 17, 2011 Share Posted November 17, 2011 Star, everyone always talks about 91 & 93, and sometimes 90, but you really should listen to '92 as well. Anytime the whole Bb vs G quality argument comes up, I send links to Star '92. Devils have a lot of good shows, my personal favorites are '86 and '88 (surprised '88 hasn't been mentioned yet). Cavaliers: Listen to, or watch? There are a lot of Cavies shows that I love to watch, very few that I'm keen on listening to. My favorite is the Planets (though, admittedly, there are shows that they perform better). Crossmmen '92 Phantom, lots of years but I particularly like '96 Crown '09, '10 Cadets '83, '84, '87 On the other end of the spectrum, there isn't a single show with narration that I can bear to listen to. For that matter, synthesizers in general make the majority of shows over the past decade difficult to listen to. There's some really delicious arranging in that show, horns and drums. Those drums were on FIRE; guard, too. A much different show than 1984, and still worth listening/watching/respecting.
