zachariaswmb
Very cool! Didn't realize there was a requirement for that kind of thing "back in the day." Thanks for the history lesson! If I'm not mistaken, VFW restrictions on things like tempo were actually one of the big reasons why corps decided to take control and form The Combine, which would become DCI. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, though.
RetiredJedi
Spent a lot of time at Cadets rehearsals. Seen plenty of train wrecks. I've never seen them run a train wreck over and over without stopping to break it down. But let's be crystal clear... your contention is that the Cadets run everything all the time in every circumstance at full speed. Interesting. Maybe you need to go back and reread what I wrote. To be crystal clear: I said what I wanted to say. Exactly how I wanted to say it.
corpsband
Maybe you need to go back and reread what I wrote. To be crystal clear: I said what I wanted to say. Exactly how I wanted to say it. Here we go... JJeff: So you really *only* run things at full speed even when they don't work? Me: No of course not. That would be silly. You: Love how DCP'rs are lecturing FMM about how the Cadets do things. Me: So... you're saying JJeff was right.. the Cadets only run things at full speed? You: That's not what I said. I'll stand by what I posted. It most certainly IS what you implied. I'm not sure of another way interpret your post. Feel free to post what you really meant if I'm wrong. If you wanna backpedal that's fine. But at least own up to your own posts.

general_tsos_chicken2
it just means 'look' but some people say lookit... it might be a midwest thing? I'm not sure... but it's rare to hear people use it these days. Only cool people say lookit :p
