The arrangement was incredible, with amazing brass, percussion, guard, the choreography, the percussion feature, the changing of the pants from green to white (2 times, 1st time was sopranos, then the rest of the brass), and the regal nature of the music and drill brought the crowd to a fever pitch by the end. Musicman1084 Posted July 26, 2012 Share Posted July 26, 2012 I know it was short (and fairly recent), but I really have to give it up for Phantom's 2010 opener. Everything about it was perfect to me... from playing in the tunnel, the field entrance, the front ensemble writing, the impact when they face the audience, the mello rips, and the bass runs when the corps is surrounded by the guard.
