I'm guessing the parade will start late? It's 2:30 and they're still making remarks at the lunch.

The Presidential Escort

The Presidential Escort is a military and civilian formation that escorts the President, Vice President, and their families from the Capitol to the White House following the swearing-in ceremony. I don't want to out anybody here, but a fairly regular DCP poster over the years is in the parade as well. Nothing to do with BAC.

He is the leader of a unit selected to be in this year's parade.

Congrats to him. Proud of the guy.

I'll just leave it at that.

For anyone trying to decide between the two feeds, C-SPAN has better sound for me and more camera angles, but perhaps too many cutaways. The official inaugural image is sharper.

At 5:03 we're halfway through the first division, with Miami University of Ohio playing now.

Each division of the parade seems to take about twenty minutes, so Boston should be on in roughly a half hour: 5:45 p.m.
