Lose the logo

Recommended Posts

I think Atlanta had the logo removed every year I was there, but I think Lucas Oil, San Antonio, and East Rutherford(Giants stadium) had the logo. Same with Buffalo. Seems like standard practice to leave them on there. Also, it is cool to go back and show people when you were on those fields.

Just watched Regiment from Atlanta 2012 ... it is nice to see the show without a center logo ... especially since they made significant use of that area of the field with the costume change and then the circle of red left behind afterwards ...

I actually find that square tarp, which is clearly a different color than the field, more distracting that a logo. Why? Because I am accustomed to seeing a 'football team' logo on a 'football' field.

Plus, how long before someone (possibly others) marching quickly snags some material and down they go?

That, I'm guessing here... don't know for sure... is up to the team that is the principal tenant of the facility.

which usually has a game the day after finals

I actually agree with you. This is one of the reasons I liked performing in the Citrus Bowl..because there was no distracting logo on the field.

Sorry about your disappoinment but maybe their log wasn't there because the DALLAS Comboys don't play in San Antonio?

Dallas has had summer camp there
