Ever time I have heard the Crusaders play the Kingsfold theme ("I heard the voice of Jesus say...")https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqF4N7rdV-w from Dives and Lazarus I have whistled the tune home and well into the evening, bringing good memories of peaceful times at Spencer where the monks used it for their version of Compline (same as this, http://www.newmelleray.org/compline.asp) or as the Boston Irish sing it in the pubs, the Star of County Down. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SM7AgQK0WiI. Many might not recognize this little G-7 dig by BAC in the 2105 show until they investigate a little more of the Dives and Lazarus image from the Gospels (Rich, favored man vs. poor struggling man who eventually has the better place.) cf. https://www.fisheate...parables29.html It's a most beautiful piece and BAC does it wonderfully. Last year, they were in Greencastle Pa for a few days before Allentown. I was able to go listen as I live 11 miles from there. Anyone know if they are returning there this year? I read old drmmjr's request ("So I keep trying to find where they are going to be the next few days.") like he might want to have a site so old drmmjr and others could check in periodically to see if the corps has set up housing on the missing dates.
