Boston Crusaders 2015 - 75th

Recommended Posts

Nice job last night, BAC! And this show provides us a truth which we already knew--and some of us forgot...it doesn't make any sense to wring our hands over some "Corps Standing" list, when those numbers are derived from different shows on different nights judged by different panels. One of the corps which (as of the day before yesterday) was "ranked" above Boston got beaten by BAC by 4 points last night. I'm really looking forward to the corps' swing through Texas, and good luck to them throughout!

What BAC has done this year for drum corps world (DCI) is out of this world. A lot of good comments from people at the hat shell and tangelwood that have not seen drum corp. Boston has open drum corp to the world. Nothing but good comment ( from Keith the pops/ BSO and media) They did a great job and talented . At tangle wood the main feature was BAC drum line and horn line with the BD horn in the back ground. Love them together and the respect that BD gave BAC and yes Boston treated BD and DCI with the utmost respect during there stay in New England. IMO BAC scores ( Building A Champion or BAC) are disrespectful for all of what good and hard work they have done this year for all of DCI. Just my opinion after after 50 years + and thank you Boston for giving us many shows and world music over the past several years.

re: http://wxedge.com/2015/07/15/70-foot-pile-of-boston-snow-finally-melts/

Must be from the surge of Boston's rising scores :wow: ........................................... :tounge2:

Its about time all that Boston City snow from last winter melted. But it really should have all melted by the start of the summer school vacation, don't you think ?. ( DCP fans out in Calif, must be laughing at this, and wondering what the big deal is. Out in Calif, my oldest daughter that lives and works out there, says she and her friends can swim in the Pacific Ocean in the early morning, and then be on the ski slopes with the the snow later that late afternoon.)

Look at last years scores 79 at this time. oh the show is to fast what ever. take a look at the down ward score vs last year MIN. The kids did a great job 4th and at tangle wood. oh by the way take a look at both BD and BAC for that night very interesting to say the least. we can take off line to get may opinion. IMO they should be at a 80. Sorry this hole thing is out of this world.

Look at last years scores 79 at this time.

Here is the corps from 2011 to 2014; the date they first hit 70 and the score; the number of shows to break 80; and the date/score when they broke 80. (Yes, I've been sitting on this info for some time now.)

2011 6-25 70.90 13 7-18 80.10

2012 6-26 70.70 11 7-19 80.25

2013 6-29 70.40 10 7-19 80.75

2014 6-25 70.90 13 7-19 82.420

2015 6-29 71.50 6 so far and the highest is 76.40 two nights ago.

I'd trade the Bristol and Lynn shows for the Esplanade and Tanglewood any year, but it's time, as mentioned before, to get back in the race for 7th or 8th.

Thanks craiga. You would have to be at tangle wood to understand. Ghost does not understand.
