GUARDLING
Troopers performance block for Atlanta: 5:24 p.m. Spirit of Atlanta – Atlanta, GA 5:41 p.m. Oregon Crusaders – Portland, OR 5:58 p.m. Mandarins – Sacramento, CA 6:15 p.m. Troopers – Casper, WY 6:32 p.m. The Academy – Pheonix, AZ 6:49 p.m. Colts – Dubuque, IA 7:06 p.m. Crossmen – San Antonio, TX 7:23 p.m. Blue Stars – La Crosse, WI 7:40 p.m. Boston Crusaders – Boston, MA Definitely a rougher spot, going on before all of their competition. Here's hoping for the best! If they can make themselves look like a total standout from everything around them it could help ( memorable in a good way ) . IMO they must go for broke. Tough? yes possible? yes Edited July 20, 2015 by GUARDLING
BRASSO
If the Troopers utilize sufficient horsepower, they'll do just fine in their acceleration, imo. Edited July 20, 2015 by BRASSO
Pinwiz
Troop has GE for days, there's still time for the visual to click. It's going to be tough but we've had surprises on Semis night the last three years (Xmen make Finals, Troop almost make Finals, Colts almost make finals) so who knows what will happen. And if not then if you don't think that the home office isn't making notes for next year you are crazy.
Granny Smith
I'm confused.
Daave
It would appear from the recaps the judges have been telling them what is lacking. On this board, others have pointed out the same. Visual Analysis and Visual Proficiency. It the guard thread, I believe, someone noted, given the theme, the guard is undervalued. So, IMO, until individual marching responsibility improves, the visual scores will continue to leave them stagnant... and out of Saturday night. Again. Nine shows, 12 days, less than one point. Not confusing from my foxhole.

xandandl
Of course, these have been different individual judges on these panels. The larger number of individuals in the judging pool makes it more challenging to move the image. This year DCI is using a larger pool of judges. Changes have to be dramatic improvement with consistency, not merely a tick here or there.
