BDCorno
Diasgree with this strongly. BD is not adjusting to what Crown or any other corps is doing. Likewise, I don't think Crown is basing their show concepts to "counter" what BD is doing. You mentioned seeing "changes" in both corps that illustrate your point. I'd love to hear them. I think we had this same thing last night elsewhere on DCP. Anyone that thinks any top corps' staff is "countering" what anyone else is doing is wrong. Taking that approach will only lead to failure. These are the best in the business, and their best is what comes from their hearts and minds, not some carrot-and-stick chasing of the competition. awunderlich
best use of Trombones this year!
Lance
I don't think I could disagree more. Crown is probably farther away from the G-bugle sound than anyone in World Class. correct
BDCorno
I sat in a BD circle once. Nearly failed my Audiogram the next day. Sat in front of my mellos at Riverside a few weeks ago. Glad I stopped the bleeding from my ears before I passed out. They're way louder with the Kings this year. THeShadeOfNight
One consistent, come rain or shine: those trumpet soloists for Bloo. WOW can those players scream away like it's nothing every night. AMAZING
BDCorno
correct I will credit Matt Harloff...he (like I do) loves loud, and he has them cranking the db's. Sweet.

mboogey73
Rough run for Coats, imo. Timing issues more than once. Snares seriously dirty during the feature close to the end. They get a pass because they were marching a hole.
KVG_DC
Bloo seemed...less clean than the previous time I saw them. The timing quirks were very noticeable. Not sure what's causing that but they seemed to fight their way through the show at points. This will probably hurt their scores tonight, but they've got time to roll it back together before the regional.
