schedule for next Saturday (June 3) contains their last ST day in Johnstown and a community performance in Jeans & tshirts:

Saturday, June 3rd

7:00 AM breakfast 
8:00 AM the day 
8:15 AM s/r 
9:00 AM Visual Block 
 12:00 PM LUNCH 
12:45 PM Sectionals 
 3:15 PM Set up 
3:30 PM ensemble 
5:15 PM Dinner 
7:00 PM intro - Q&A w/ Hop and Mike (corps on field warming up) 
7:30 PM Community Performance Jeans and corps shirt 
8:15 PM Done (group snack - NOT out of the food truck) 
PACK-UP / Clean Dorms / ETC 
12:00 AM Goodnight

Sunday, June 4th

8:00 AM Cold Breakfast 
9:00 AM room check 
9:30 AM busses arrive 
11:00 AM depart for pittsburgh - admin goes to Ada 
1:00 PM Free time in Pittsburgh 
6:00 PM Depart for Ada 
11:00 PM arrive in Ada 
1:00 AM Good night

I can't say I'm a fan of this new trend where a single player has both vibes and a marimba. All it does is cost more money and make your pit look bigger when it doesn't really add much of anything musically.

you might want to hear the book before stating it doesn't add much musically - a couple features they have are quite interesting and it allows more versatility in the writing

they dropped the #of FE members this year by 2 - so some of this also offsets that change as well

all that being said - this configuration is specific to this show and the extra transportation costs (not to mention the huge instrument cost) will likely limit this to a show-specific layout for the Cadets. 2018 I'd expect a more normal configuration for their FE.
