Gone are the days where BD is so far ahead of everyone else that there's no realistic chance of anyone catching them. There's only so much new stuff you can shove down member's throats and have them clean it enough. That's the balance that has to be struck every single year, of course, by everyone making show changes mid-season. How much to change, how soon, and how difficult to make those changes. I don't say that very often. Other people are saying this, but I hear tons of high brass tuning issues throughout, especially the beginning and then all high brass features.
