garfield
Just home to pick up the _kid and go get some breakfast. Met the advance team from Cascades at the school at 2am, "generator crew" arrived at 3am, the rest of the corps arrives at 5:30am. They came straight from Atlanta. Do these volunteers ever actually see a show?
garfield
It's nights like this one that clarifies the value of naps during the day. Working on three hours of sleep last night getting Cascades in early. Tonight, the parade begins with Pacific Crest at 3am, four coming all at once at 4am, then a straggler at 7:30. TV guy at 6:30a. Breakfast in there somewhere. Napping tomorrow before the show begins...
N.E. Brigand
What's the "exhibition unit" performance at 6:30 p.m.? It's still not identified either on DCI's schedule or on the ECMG website (the latter just says "preshow performance").
Jurassic Lancer
Welp, bought my super premium ticket. I will be flying solo as Mrs. Lancer will be working in Philadelphia tomorrow.

The Dublin Brass band will serenade the audience and then do the Banner.

Cleveland1
Living in columbus I always try to make it out to this show, solid venue all around and usually the lineup is very good. This is the first year I can remember with bluecoats, wasnt this a Glassmen location before? Unfortunately I cannot make it this year. Timing is rough for me. Best of luck to everyone tonight and to garfield for a smoothly coordinated show.

garfield
I gotta tell ya', this was one of the finer things I've done for this little niche. A total and complete success by a professional, interactive, sensitive, curious, and daring team from the local Fox affiliate this morning. And a VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU AND KUDOS to Michael Tran the and Seattle Cascades. They were for-warned and those kids jumped right in at 7:15am to ham it up and put on a great face and show. Cameron was a GREAT host, and all it took was some enthusiasm and background for him to get a feel how to not let it be "drum-lined". It helped that the camerman was in band, and that the producer in the news room marched Cadets in the early '90's! HOW LUCKY WAS THAT!!?? http://myfox28columbus.com/good-day-columbus/around-town/cam-around-town-emerald-city-music-games If someone can figure out how to post the first vid here, please do. I have to run. (Ticket sales were at an all-time high as of this morning... Not quite capacity, but close. Come early.
