That ending was the sweetest thing. The current corps losing their minds for the bottle dance was amazing.

Bobby L. Collins
Even I have to admit that hearing that live would have been totally worth the ticket price.
DasTuba
I just saw the alumni group at the sounds sport event and WOW!!!!! That was so much fun! Simple gifts nearly brought me to tears. They even had a marriage proposal! Thank you so much SCV alumni for that truly special performance!

George Dixon
I was curious about the DM? Anyone know what year he marched? He was quite good last night and held it together - not easy IMO
mikekhs
Loved it! My wife and I were calling out the selections and then the years. Finally just stood the whole time. Three questions... 1. The couple dancing during the Phantom pieces. Was that "Her" from 89? 2. The solo rim shot in Send In The Clowns. Meant as a tribute to? Gail? 3. Was Hardimon involved at all? Well done Vanguard! FYI, Rick's wife, Lisa, marched sop with BD, also aging out in 1979. Edited August 12, 2017 by oldsoprano
GUARDLING
So Well done at such a high level. AS much as I love today's drum Corps chills and tears here. so many memories. Congrats to the entire SCV org. All one has to do is watch the raw emotion of todays SCV watching their history perform and one can clearly see how much they know and respect their history and the history of the activity. The other stuff or negativity from other threads is just noise thats been there through every decade. Congrats SCV, old and new!
