My wife who is new to drum corps is loving the sound of the G bugles

Find her the YouTube of the '76 Blue Devils playing "Legend of the One Eyed Sailor," the '75 Scouts with "The Way We Were," or "Let it be Me" from Spirit in '79.  She'll be in G bugle auditory heaven.

If I wasn't so busy trying to describe this show, I'd be taking a picture of every form they halt in because they're that clean.

So they say you can't play bugles in tune, huh?  Sounds pretty darn good to me!

"G bugles couldn't be played in tune" is the biggest fake news story in drum corps.

Playing backfield and now building into Stars and Stripes. DM has taken his place in front of the now fully formed company front.

There's the push forward!

And there's the entire stadium clapping in time!!! Only at drum corps shows do I hear that happen without dragging.

My, oh my.  Another thread, another day.   Among my favorites too!   That and so many others.  Among them a full solo - with screamers - Madison's MacArthur Park.

Again, some other day, some other thread!  :)
