drangin
So, it's not even in stereo, it's in mono, and the loudest thing you hear is people screaming right under the microphone. I could be watching that on Periscope for free.

The Muncie standstill a couple years ago I remember sounded really great but it was indoors.

We have kids in Blue Knights, Phantom, Madison Scouts, Music City, Carolina Crown, Bluecoats, Cadets, etc. year in and year out. Yet we are left without a show this year as well. Sure, there are shows within a 4 to 5 hour traveling distance from Central Kentucky, but it still sucks. Not to mention tons of great smaller-scale bands in the state such as Adair County and Bourbon County. Thanks to those two bands, the BOA Grand Nationals Class A trophy has never left Kentucky since 2014. DCI would benefit so much from putting a show in their backyard.

I dont get it Largely it's prop and field conditions related. Drill movements and body work on a soggy field can be sliptastic. Props that have been sitting out in the rain waiting to load to the field will be wet and slippery too. I never quite realized this until 2014 in Ft. Wayne when it had rained right up to the start of the show with some intermittent mist. Corps' props had been out etc. So even though Bluecoats went on next to last with Tilt, those ramps were still fairly wet. Some of the corps did not go up the ramps but too the "stand in front of them" option. The big runner and jump (there were multiple ramp jumpers in the original ending) slipped off the end of the ramp into the group of guard to catch her and did have some head impact on the ground as they were caught. So yeah, I get it.

That’s when I realized drum Corp is even better with bourbon !!
N.E. Brigand
"Fix You" reached #18 on the Billboard Modern Rock chart in 2005. How many of the other songs that hit that chart that year have been played by drum corps or marching bands even once?
