I understand that but it is still part of the conversation.  I’d go buy a Tesla tomorrow if I thought I could travel longer distances on a charge and be able to recharge easily and quickly.

I read this the other day in the WSJ.  https://www.wsj.com/articles/i-rented-an-electric-car-for-a-four-day-road-trip-i-spent-more-time-charging-it-than-i-did-sleeping-11654268401?st=wdi1j0xyttmhz3o

Yup.

Any idea how long that takes? Can’t remember the time estimate of upgrading/replacing the hardware.

...from what I remember in Louisiana, it takes them a week to switch between things....

well like pretty much every economist out there i got it wrong.

but ya gotta admit, those oil and gas companies profits hit record highs so far this year didn't they?

Not exactly the profit is from the actual oil barrel costs not the retail price

Sad part is the lack of refinery capacity has been going on for years. Supposedly the companies don’t want to take the $$$ hit by shutting down to upgrade what they have.

Corps related as hits corps and fans in the pocketbook.

AND the regulations will not let us increase or expand refinery capacity.
