Orwellian Wiress
Honestly? Just the sound of a Dr. Beat gets me pulsing. The metronome is its own music unto itself
CAtenhut
I dance to the Flo commercial break song.

ironlips
Ok, Youngblood. I dig your enthusiasm. Here's an Old School show that made me Mambo. If this doesn't make you move, go to the doctor and make sure your heart is beating (especially during "Siboney"): Drum Corps icons Bobby Hoffman (timbales), Don Angelica and Jimmy D'Amico (sopranos) are featured here. They are your daddies, and you are a good kid because you respond physically to the music. FD
waliman4444
Horns played ALOT of music.....Hawthorne always had guys with great chops but I didn't recall how much they played!...No knock on today's brass players but the old guys played more music IIRC..Thanks for Hawthorne post
keystone3ply
I dance thru the entire Crown production; even the odd meter material. I also can’t help but move with the percussion during Benedictus. It reminds me of some if the recent Bluecoat shows. Absolutely love the front ensemble break in the Halley piece. It has such a ‘Pat Metheny’ feel… Edited July 21, 2022 by keystone3ply Cx
KVG_DC
I'm more a conductor guy when listening. That is, when not drumming out things on whatever nearby surface is available.
ironlips
Having a physical response to music means two things: 1. You have a soul 2. The performers were successful in reaching it 1
