Loved The Colts, Troopers, and others! I don't mind the new look and feel of Madison as much as I thought I would. Phantom was great! Killer mello line and just a great design! Cavies are back! Seemed very healthy and felt like a solid mid-tier corps! It does my heart good to see The Cadets back doing what made most of us fall in love with them! Boston is soooo good! I truly think they outperform everyone (and no I am not saying they should win). They are solid top to bottom. Not surprised at all they took 2nd tonight. SCV ... so talented, yet so abstract. Sigh. Mandarins ... interesting concept. Their miced instruments and recorded bits are waaaayyy too loud. It was often completely covering up the hornline. Crown is just fun to watch! Still not sure why they aren't winning brass. The large tarp in the ballad works live much much better than on Flo. Great reaction tonight.
