IllianaLancerContra
Good job Colts Cadets. Designing a show that plays to your strengths certainly pays off. Good balance between pit, battery and brass. Very entertaining.
kbbandman
Way to go, Colt Cadets! Nice sound for only 14 brass.
OldSnareDrummer
Nice job, kids. That guard was working their tails off.

I get the sense they give these kids a good experience and appropriate challenge. I wonder what their retention rate to the Colts is cause I bet it's pretty high for those who go on to do World Class.

Those are good seats there. How's the crowd? I know it's early, but honestly if I were going back home I'd be more tempted to do the OC semis and finals then prelims and be done than the 'super 3.' SJugster
Question regarding Colt Cadets. How can you have so many percussion players but not that many brass? Could they not find more quality brass players? Just weird to have such an imbalance Perc to Brass.
IllianaLancerContra
Ok. Les Stentors. Putting the International into Drum Corps International
OldSnareDrummer
Said this before, but I'm just blown away by Les Stentors taking their kids all the way to CA to tour from Quebec. That's so giving your kids the fullest possible experience.

BITD there were many ‘Cadets’ Corps, and even a short-lived Cadet Corps International competition circuit.
