IllianaLancerContra
Golly. We were happy when we got a bologna sandwich, or when we parked the busses at a place that had a variety of fast food nearby (which led to The Great Hat Rebellion, but that is another story). totaleefree
I am glad they are recognizing the work she has done. Feeding a corps all summer is a tough job.

Difference is that we only did events within a 4-hr drive; DCM kept us busy every weekend. A DCI tour is another thing altogether.

KVG_DC
That's a great view of some of the operational aspects of running a DCI corps on tour. For all the kvetching about expenditures on props etc., this is where the money gets spent and some of where the marcher experience is solidified as a positive one. Blue Stars are getting this part right and it'll attract and retain the talent for competitive climbing and longevity. A healthy happy corps is one ready to work their tail off and perform in spades.
