Hats give a sense of sophistication, style and intrigue. Without them the horns and field percussion look unfinished and ordinary. It actually just looks like a glorified dress rehearsal. I tend to agree, but with the physical demands and choreography designed into today’s shows, headwear just isn’t a viable option…..unless it’s stapled on.
