Hats, Helmets, Vaquero, Aussies or Whatever Need to Come Back

Recommended Posts

Other than the guard and pit, hats need to be part of the uniform/costume. The experiment has been tried and failed.  Hats give a sense of sophistication, style and intrigue. Without them the horns and field percussion look unfinished and ordinary. It actually just looks like a glorified dress rehearsal.

Just my two cents.

I tend to agree, but with the physical demands and choreography designed into today’s shows, headwear just isn’t a viable option…..unless it’s stapled on.

I would love to see a corps try to get headwear on my son's Fro. Good luck with that LMAO.

But they all have such lovely hair. It's the only way this cue ball can re-live his glory days.

You know, BITD the Fro would have to take one for the team.

Not following you. Can you elaborate?

Unfortunately I have a Los Angeles public education, so you gotta break the simplest things down for me LMAO.

The cymbal players at SC used to be required to shave their heads all season. And take a hard slap across the face before each show, sometimes from staff.

Ah, times. How they change. Was glad to see both practices die off.
