Houston show that's actually Tomball

Recommended Posts

Trombone feature is ruff n tuff and the way the rest of the brass all join in is awesome. One of the major show hi lights of all the corps this year. The closer is also fabulous reminds me of Kinetic Noise and I’m so so here for that! She should have won in 2015 over miss inferno controversial opinion btw 💄💋

You can really tell that blue devils don’t use a traditional computer program to write their drill compared to everyone else. It’s unmistakable.

Don’t Bluecoats stage most of their show, too?

You must not be listening, since none of them are even remotely the same.

I remember playing all of them at 8:00 in my parents basement practicing … I am so tired of them … year, after year, after year …

DCI needs to bring back retreats or get the scores out faster before everyone leaves.

Bluecoats show just keeps growing on me.  It was the same last year when I didn't think much of the show until Indy. But it's the show that I've watched over and over again during the off season.

Arrangers cut things from the source material all the time. P

It's kind of a central moment in the source material though, IMO. This is an obvious exaggeration, but would you arrange Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and take out all references to Ode to Joy? Maybe. But no one would fault you for leaving it in.

Because they basically compose it on the field, in real time, with the members’ input. Very unique, organic process.
