Corps Al Denton (TX) July 20, 2023

Recommended Posts

Pretty good night, I don't think anyone had an off night,  everyone is going full steam into the Dome on Sat, should be exciting.

I know you’re gonna make me walk the plank, but I don’t see much room for growth.  I think they will be passed up. By finals.

I agree… anyone else have theories as to why? Just Gino’s preferred tone maybe … idk

Gino's hornlines didn't sound like that at Cadets. Just think its how it is arranged

What’s up with the overly sexualized ads showing up on the DCP threads this year? I mean, DCI turns me on, but c’mon fella!

Pretty sure you populate those ads. 😜😂😂😂

I don't think it has as much to do with Gino's preferred sound or how well the corps is playing and everything to do with the book itself

It’s like 1/50th the narration of Bloo

Copy and paste for all groups using narration.

Was that their best run of the season? The overall show is growing on me a LOT, they really sold that performance!

I do wish the horn writing and ensemble balance was a bit different, it's just too layered and leads to a thinner sounding hornline. The three corps preceding them sounded a lot more "full"

This was the show last year where they started to sell that program as well.
