Corps in the Heat at Mesquite (TX) - July 24, 2023

Hahaha.

I'm glad they're letting the guys who can cut loose and just have some silly fun out there.

This is also classic Cavies.

The lack of distinctive characterizations/affect/behavior between those in black vs those in green is a weakness of the show for me. I think the growing presence of green shows the growing effects of absinthe over time?

I was joking.  Wasn't trying to make a point about anything.

Like the Mandarins, one member starts out in a different color costume, then the whole corps gradually switches over.

Listen to all the talent in this brass line! Like seriously they have some exceptional players, and this is not an easy arrangement of Sing Sing Sing. I don't think their show quite showcases just how talented this corps is. But this standstill is fun.

This looks serious.   Hope they have enough time,  so that another finals spot doesn't open up.

My feed cleaned up quite nicely with judicious use of the "Ignore" function!

Why does it always feel like Cavies get a bug every year?

Because they do

I wonder the same thing. Isn't it the 2nd time already this season? I think I counted about 15 brass holes in an early season show. Either that or it was really bad spacing on a closing set.
