Real ideas for sustainability & revenue

Recommended Posts

I don’t think drum corps is in any position to turn down $50,000 from any corporation.  If Home Depot came to my organization and said we’d like to donate $1 million dollars to you, I don’t care if their political views line up with mine.  I bought my washer and dryer from them.  I didn’t ask their political views. Geez,  practically everything we buy is made in China.  https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-china-51697800

Go down that rabbit hole and see what happens.

It actually can be quite satisfying taking the 50 grand knowing quietly they contributed to something possibly against their own political or social values😁

The company's owner is its shareholders. Some people's objections are to the company's founder. Let's be accurate.

I thought it was Chick Fil A.  No?  They're privately owned and as such don't offer public stock.

Sorry, I misread the title of this thread. It specifically states it's a discussion on "sustainability and revenue" and not a discussion about "ethical sustainability and revenue generation". My bad.

I heard a story about ten years ago that someone went to a loan shark to get the money to keep their corps going.
