Funny fact, more vinyl sold last year than CD's.

Streaming beats both of them by a long shot.

"Just over 41 million vinyl records were sold in 2022, to the tune of $1.2bn"

"Revenue from streaming, which includes "paid subscriptions, ad-supported services, digital and customized radio, social media platforms, digital fitness apps and others," grew 7% to a record high $13.3bn. It accounted for 84% of total revenues.

Perhaps DCI should look into a streaming option - ad-supported, or subscription.

When I got my new car in 2020, I asked Jim where the CD player was. Lol 😂

One of trainers got her new laptop last week and sent me a message in Teams asking where the DVD drive was. I told her she was about 5 years too late.

And to think, my generation turned 5 1/4 single sided disks into double sided disks using a square hole punch...

Still have my 2016 which has CD player that does music CDs and mp3 format. At home it’s my cheapo CD/mp3 player and cheapero DVD player that plays both and uses TV speakers.

Have software that records to laptop so play vinyl on $65 player and goes to hard drive. Then burn music CD or mp3 format to save. 👍

All my cassette players are kaput 😫

We won't know this unless they try or at the least investigate the possibility. Streaming wasn't built on folks like Taylor Swift. It started with much smaller acts, and the big names jumped in.
