Renegroupie
Any hope for some more pics? The one early on in this thread gave me great hope. It's a nice stadium. Fingers crossed.

FrankBeMe
We're about to get started again soon ..... KUDOs to the 4 corps that took the field in the rain. There's still a slight drizzle - but much better than earlier this afternoon. Here's another visual from the field - earlier this afternoon .... Looks like the Stealthmen are performing there! cabalumsw
Rochester is probably about 4-5 hours from Kingston, ON, Canada. I was participating in White Sabers throughout the winter as a tenor player and battery technician with Rick Rogers. I just couldn't keep up with the travel every camp weekend. That made me realize how crappy out-of-town members have it for any drum corps. Adam: I am seven hours from Rochester and 2 and a half hours from Scranton. I remember when I marched with Caballeros in the 70s we did Rochester twice a season. One show in June for the Crusaders show and the second for the DCA Championships. I did not enjoy that trip! Danielle
no scores for the other 2 corps yet? They are waiting until Alliance goes on so that those here can be in their seats to hear them...

Maybe it has something to do with the freeways in and/or around Rochester?!?! I have a perfectly great and wonderful drum corps in my hometown but I wanted to be on the other side of the fence and be a prominant member of a staff/design team. Unfortunately after a few months that fell through because of the wear and tear of the hours spent traveling. Of course they are still like family to me and vise versa and I wish them all the best for the entire season and more so this weekend. I made some amazing friends at that corps and added strength to already great friendships with the Rogers family and the Oney family. I just can't wait to hear White Sabers' score! b**bs

tindmac
Hey Kevin, Great job up there! Where are the bases on the field? Just kidding. By the way Carl, Andy and Robert are up there representing the Rock. Tell them hi if you see them. I had to stay back due mainly to illness with the mom in law. Enjpy the show and keep us posted. Next year the ROCK will get to enjoy the beautiful Rachacha weather! GO CRU Tom MaKinster Executive Director North Coast Rock
