Walter
Dutchboy, Freelancers, Cadets, PR, Kingsmen...oh wait. You said "hasn't." Let me start again. Maybe Blue Devils? No known money problems anyway. Then why were they so distressed when Govenor ARNOLD allowed the Indians to have casino's, since they are so close to Blue Devils BINGO HALL or hasn't that gone through yet ?? .. and it's Dutch Boy !! threefortywest
I'd have to say the Blue Devils. I understand that this isn't about the winningest, but still, correct me if i'm wrong, they haven't placed below fifth since they won their first championship. They haven't put out a single show that didn't have some amazing moments, at least from what i can remember. Santa Clara Vanguard a close second. With Phantom, BC, Cadets, Cavaliers, and Scouts all mixed in after. Also give Star some consideration. They made finals every year of their existence. Div II- The Academy, sure they've only been around 4 years, but they're undefeated.
ravedodger
Then why were they so distressed when Govenor ARNOLD allowed the Indians to have casino's,since they are so close to Blue Devils BINGO HALLS or hasn't that gone through yet ?? .. and it's Dutch Boy !! Were they distressed? I don't know. BUT, IMO, they do have a nice alumni/booster base that seem to contribute much.

Dutchboy, Blue Coats. Err... Dutch Boy, Bluecoats! At least your name isn't mangled as badly as Sac o' Tomatos, Flearanchers, Freeloaders, Freebasers... I still have to figure out if it's color guard or colorguard. :P Edited October 30, 2006 by ravedodger

jake_the_hydra
The Blue Devils, The Cavaliers, and The Madison Scouts Based on history, tradition, innovation, trophies, TREATMENT OF MEMBERS, consistent quality of staff, financial management, etc. Though if Madison doesn't get things figured out soon, they'll be off my list. I would also put SCV close to the top . . . I wouldn't even consider Phantom, maybe the Cadets. That's just me. As far as Phantom's money problems . . . they were getting pretty ridiculous at the end of the 90's/beginning of the 2000's, from what I understand. Lance
It would be interesting to see everybody not only put who they think is the best, but also to put who their favorite corps is.

OK, I think either SCV or BD should be considered the best of all time. Each have been at the top since DCI started. My favorite corps....Phantom!
