I’m actually the designer of Walmart Health virtual care! No kidding! Telehealth does not include any store-centered services, including pharmacy, vision or store products. It does include on demand doctor visits, on phone or computer. It’s a really good service and I am really proud that somehow I am connected to DCI.7 points

Great show and venue. Went last year and only complaint was the concession situation. Blazing hot, hundreds of high school folks cutting line, and hours in line. Avoid the concession stands.1 point

I do remember when the law was passed in june last year.... i did not see the update about it being repealed... but it would appear that is correct and was repealed a couple months ago.1 point

There is a law in the city now that is not MEANT to target LGBT, but it is in reaction to the state as a whole... This is the first time we will not go in nearly 15 years.1 point

Make sure to go to The Chop House for dinner before the show. Great steaks abd Bloody Marys. We usually saw a couple of the judges who were having a pre show dinner.1 point

Wouldn't it be nice to finally get a show at JMU? Big stadium with turf field right off of I-81 in Harrisonburg, VA and has hosted the high school marching band competition "Parade of Champions" for decades.1 point

The school that hosted in Warrenton lost a ton of money the last year they hosted. Annapolis picked up that show after a year off. I hosted corps for both Warrenton and Annapolis during this time frame. Remember, this is the only show in the DC area and I have to believe DCI would still like to keep it in the area. Just limited stadiums big enough with turf fields.1 point

Thanks everyone for your input. Booked at Embassy Suites near the stadium. Sitting up high. Club level 303 row 5 /43. It’s about a four hour drive for us and we get an hour back. I’ve only done drive bys of Nashville so maybe we’ll go see the touristy stuff.1 point

It's seriously one of the best shows on tour. You're getting the Top 8 corps (plus Music city), outdoors in a FANTASTIC sounding stadium, great sightlines, and a capacity crowd. This is often where corps will debut their "new" ending to the show as they head to the stretch run. Outside of Finals, it's my favorite show of the year.1 point

Every second of 1987 Appalachian Spring. That show plus SCV’s Russian Christmas Music (in the same year), especially the low brass at 2:26, hooked me on drum & bugle corps.1 point
