Watching them rehearse at Santa Clara High School. I didn’t think it was physically possible to top last year’s closer, and yet…

Nix the useless repeated voiceover at the beginning of the second movement and you’ve got a near perfect show.

I do miss when corps had a much more limited and specific set of tools that were legal to use. It made the final product more consistent yet more impressive all at once.

I was hoping someone would say this! The raising of the bottom note by a half step as compared to the end of the opener is what does it for me. Not sure when in the season they added that ending, but it makes the show for me.

He never really got the hang of arranging for Bb/F horns the way (say) Michael Klesch did.

I just want Blue Knights to not wear purple. Even the Bluecoats wore blue coats this year.
