I think the G7 is a decent camera but it is too plasticky for me. They are great for video I hear.

Screw popularity. It's already cheesy enough. What made it great was the interesting music. Now it's how many different takes on the rite of spring can you have in one season and all the pop garbage. Only a handful of corps play interesting music.

I love the fact that they played very high brow interesting music. the last thing I want is to hear more pop garbage. more than half the corps this year played stupid pop music. even shows I liked sort of played insipid drek. Even if it's the same Bernstein stuff at least it is interesting music. If you want to hum stuff home with songs you are familiar with go to a BOA show.

All I can say is the fact that this stupid thing even existed and the person in charge of it get it taken from them and given a right snuggie didn't happen sooner is beyond me. A hammer, engraved no doubt? What a dork.

Front ensemble judge and 50% weight of finals in averaging.

I called it last year. their show was such a wonderful implied concept. That ending was so good!

Finals should carry 50% of the average score.

Bluecoats really push the bar creatively while Crown relies on gimmickry in desperation to do anything to win coupled with an in your face smugness by their fans who had the nerve to come here and boo us when we beat them at our home show which is why I simply can not stand them.

All I keep remembering from watching Cadets at the downtown Concord finals viewing was "This is some real high brow music" I really loved the show Cadets. Wish you could have come but am glad you survived your set back and came back strong!

I understand the reasoning behind averaging. I do however think that Finals should carry more weight. It should be 50% and the other two 25%.
