In his years with Blue Stars only one thing stands out to me as a miss. That was the guard work with the conjoined twins a few years back. It never got passed the awkward stage.

The Thunderbolts were from Cedarburg. St. Mathias sponsored the St. Mathias Cadets. The Thunderbolts weren’t associated with a parish.

More great RW Smith arrangements? I love how he wrote that transition from the tango into Nessum Dorma last year. That was one of my fave musical moments of the summer. -
I thought the virus was removed. (Too soon?)

It warms my soul to hear all this good news coming out of spring training. I’m picturing the members out in the sun and thinking of that old saying “The sun is the most effective disinfectant”.

More please! Any chorals?

Imagine if their brass could capture the timbre of Karen Carpenter’s voice? Heaven!

Update from the Philadelphia Inquirer
Brian Tuma replied to Terri Schehr's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
Some of those guys are on dcp. There’s been comments on here in regards to VK’s cymbal line and Phantom’s and Dutch Boy’s guards that have made me cringe. Those young ladies are frozen in time at 22 or younger while the men making comments are probably well into middle age. Ewwww. (Not that lecherous comments should be made at any age) -
Has this ever happened in DCI history?
Brian Tuma replied to wolfgang's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
Wouldn’t the border crossing simply be a onetime inconvenience where they can be prepared? It’s not like they’re going back and forth. I wonder if their going inactive was more a case of fielding the minimum number of members. -
Let’s keep this on topic. I feel this thread should be about Cadet’s 2018 program and the wonderful, talented young adults who will be entertaining us this Summer.

Crossmen Announce 2018 Program

Has anyone read Lincoln at the Bardo? bar·do ˈbärdō/ noun (in Tibetan Buddhism) a state of existence between death and rebirth, varying in length according to a person's conduct in life and manner of, or age at, death. -
I’m getting a slight “That One Second” vibe and that excites me. ”Live your life with joy and wonder” - REM.

SCV vs BD? Better job at retention.
Brian Tuma replied to glory's topic in DCI World Class Corps Discussions
Colts/Colt Cadets should be part of this convo also. Just a hunch, but I have the feeling they might have a higher percentage moving up to the world class corps than BD or SCV. -
I assumed they still have the rights but chose to go in a different direction.

People like that make me think they are totally joyless. If that same show was done by her favorite corps she would have thought it was the second coming.
