Now if the southern race was not exciting enough add in Alliance.At finals weekend in 07 they were just -2.98 behind MCL.

Saturday night's recap is perched in my hot little hands at the moment, and I see MCL with a 79.375 and Alliance with a 79.175. If you add back in the 0.8 penalty assessed to Alliance for under-time, I read that to be a squeeze win over MCL in scoring, were it not for the penalty.

Or, am I missing something there?

Hahah.. thats great.

I was just having a discussion with a co-worker the other day about how dumb it is that people always preface an offensive statement with "no offense... BUT....".

So saying "not to be disrespectful....." then saying something disrespectful doesnt really amount to much.

And after re-reading my post, i find nothing nasty. I said that I would not come on to a forum such as this and slam an entire generation of younger people and therefore i wouldnt be thought of the way you are, and that there isnt anything i could learn from you. If you believe what you type here, then i really dont believe there is anything.

I also said not to try to twist what i said into something disrespectful of my elders. Like i said, I learned some of the best things ive ever learned (on and off the field) by people 10 ,20, 30 and even 40 years older than me.

Having a GREAT life thanks! Im home in Santa Barbara for the weekend.

Actually what you said is that you learned things from Freelancers / VK / And Blue Devils...

Albeit that Don was being a bit overly with what he had to say... You my friend do not seem to be reacting with the kind of behavior you learned from the corpsmen and women of the 80's I believe myself to be a representative of those times and we knew how to show respect to our elders even when they deserved differently! Maybe you should rethink your learning of the past and remember what it was really all about!

Ray with your record and history, I respect what you have to say... Bucs following Brigs and Empire have a dynasty corps - they are amazing and consistent... When I look at the list (pretty well versed in DCA) and honestly can't say even close who will be in the top 5 or not... it's a heck of a year... doesn't change the facts though competitively this is an amazing year... This is DCA and remember what happened in 1986 when the first show Bush ever won was finals... in DCA - it ain't over till it's over...

And class A??? wow... I really have no idea... how about the thought of one of them (declared class A) making top 10? they are bunching up at the ok corral...

You missed your calling. By the end of one paragraph I find myself reaching into my pocket and looking for the collection plate!!! Seriously - it's been a lot of fun to watch this year - seems like two days after the Barnum people on DCP were lamenting the demise of the Cabs, and I for one still give them a shot at the Championship. You guys built a good, diverse, competitive activity here and you should be proud.

I'm looking forward to Saturday for my DCA fix, even though I'll miss seeing two of my kids who are out in Indy teaching. It's their turn. I'm going to sit in the stands and yell for the Hurcs and maybe whistle "Those Were The Days" in between corps.

don't think for a min. that your "stopped in time " status means everyone dosen't know your out there, your comin', and as always....you are a threat! as has been stated, the standings are somewhat flawed due to the spotty performance schedule of some, but they're fun to watch ! the mystery of the unknowns only adds to the anticipation of a great dca weekend. good luck, and in renegade fashion......rock on!
